多名用家在 X 發文表示，iPhone 18 Pro 的螢幕會隨機無反應，或出現嚴重觸控延遲。亦有 iPad 用家指出，升級至 iPadOS 27 後遇到類似情況。問題似乎不限於某項功能，有人在使用社交平台 App 時遇上，也有人在通話期間出現畫面凍結。

部分網民經過測試，找到幾種可能觸發問題的操作，包括同時拉下通知中心及控制中心，以及快速連續拉下控制中心。另外，在移動 App 或小工具時，點按主畫面底部的頁面指示器，也可能令系統無反應。對經常整理主畫面的用家而言，這種操作較容易在日常使用時碰到。

畫面凍結後，由於螢幕可能完全不回應觸控，用家需要強制重新啟動裝置，才能恢復操作。據 9to5Mac 報道，Apple 已着手修復相關問題，並在 iOS 27.2 beta 2 測試版加入修正。
至於 Apple 早前承諾、針對 Face ID 問題推出的更新，是否同時包含這些畫面凍結問題的修正，目前仍未能確定，不能視為所有問題都會在同一次更新中解決。
