Pixel Tablet 於 2023 年 5 月發布，當時政策僅提供 3 年系統及 5 年安全性更新。外媒 9to5Google 最近發現，Google 已靜悄悄更改條款，將 Pixel Tablet 的系統更新期限由原定的 2026 年 6 月，大幅延長至 2028 年 8 月。
這次並非 Google 首次延長產品支援期。早在 2024 年底，Google 已宣佈為 Pixel 6、Pixel 7 系列（含 a 系列）及 Pixel Fold 額外提供兩年系統升級，令整體系統升級及安全性更新保證均達到 5 年。
Google 曾指統一採用自家 Tensor 處理器有助簡化更新流程。雖然近年 Pixel 手機銷量報捷，相比之下 Pixel Tablet 的熱度與銷量均較遜色，但 Google 依然願意回頭照顧舊用家，確實顯得相當有誠意。
